1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Shower Filters UAE ("Shower Filters", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of shower filters and related products ("Products") from Shower Filters UAE via any Merchant Center platform or our website.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase our Products.

These Terms apply alongside:

• Return and Refund Policy (30-day satisfaction guarantee)

• Privacy Policy (data collection and protection)

• Warranty Policy (12-month limited warranty)

In case of conflict between these documents, these Terms shall prevail.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

• You are a resident of the United Arab Emirates or a country to which we ship (currently UAE only; international shipping is not available).

• All information you provide (name, address, phone number) is accurate, complete, and current.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:

• Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.

• Shipping address in a restricted area (e.g., military zones).

• Product unavailability or pricing errors.

4. Product Description

Shower Filters UAE offers premium shower filtration systems designed to reduce chlorine, heavy metals, sediment, and scale from tap water in the UAE.

Key product specifications:

Disclaimer: Results vary depending on local water quality (Emirates Water and Electricity Company data). Shower filters reduce but do not eliminate 100% of contaminants. This product is not a medical device and does not treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

• All prices are listed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) inclusive of 5% VAT (Federal Tax Authority compliant).

• Prices do not include delivery charges, which are calculated at checkout.

• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. However, price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

We do NOT accept: Personal checks, cryptocurrencies, or post-dated payments.

5.3 Payment Security

All card payments are processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateways (Stripe / Checkout.com). Shower Filters UAE does not store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or PINs.

6. Order Processing and Cancellation

6.1 Order Confirmation

After you place an order, you will receive:

• An automated confirmation email within 5 minutes (check spam folder).

• An order number (format: SF-12345678).

6.2 Order Cancellation by Customer

7. Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Delivery Areas

We ship to all seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or military installations.

7.2 Delivery Timeframes

Business days: Sunday through Thursday (UAE work week). Friday, Saturday, and public holidays are excluded.

7.3 Delivery Partners

We use the following carriers:

• Aramex (primary)

• Fetchr (secondary)

• Emirates Post (for remote areas)

7.4 Risk of Transfer

Title to Products passes to you upon delivery at your specified shipping address. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.

7.5 Failed Delivery

If delivery is attempted and fails due to:

• Incorrect address provided by you

• No one available to receive the package

• Refusal to accept delivery

We will attempt delivery one additional time. After a second failed attempt, the package will be returned to our Al Quoz warehouse. You will be responsible for re-shipping fees (same as original delivery cost).

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• Customer pays return shipping unless the product is defective.

9. Warranty

Shower Filters UAE provides a 12-month limited warranty on shower filter housings only. Filter cartridges are consumable items and are not covered by warranty beyond their expected lifespan (6 months or 20,000 liters).

9.1 Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects in the housing (cracks, leaks from seams).

• Premature failure of internal seals or gaskets.

9.2 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear (including cartridge exhaustion).

• Damage from water pressure exceeding 8 bar (install a pressure regulator if needed).

• Damage from water temperature exceeding 60°C.

• Damage from improper installation, modifications, or misuse.

• Cosmetic damage (scratches, discoloration) that does not affect function.

9.3 How to Make a Warranty Claim

Email warranty@showerfiltersuae.ae with:

• Order number

• Photos/videos of the defect

• Description of the issue

You will receive an RMA number within 48 hours.

Ship the defective product to Warehouse G-12, Al Quoz (Shower Filters UAE pays return shipping for warranty claims).

Replacement product shipped within 5 business days of receiving the defective unit.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

Example: If your shower filter leaks and damages your bathroom flooring, Shower Filters UAE's liability is limited to the refund or replacement of the filter only, not the cost of bathroom repairs.

This limitation does not apply to:

• Death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence.

• Fraudulent misrepresentation.

• Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN SECTION 9 (WARRANTY), ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• THE SHOWER FILTER WILL REMOVE 100% OF ALL CONTAMINANTS.

• THE PRODUCT WILL WORK IN ALL WATER CONDITIONS (VARYING UAE WATER HARDNESS).

• OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shower Filters UAE, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your misuse of the Product (e.g., installing on a water heater exceeding 60°C).

• Your violation of these Terms.

• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

• Any false or inaccurate information you provide during checkout.

13. Intellectual Property

All content related to Shower Filters UAE, including but not limited to:

• Product images and descriptions

• Logos, trademarks ("Shower Filters UAE", "Clean Water, Clean Data")

• Website design, text, graphics, and code

is the exclusive property of Shower Filters UAE or its licensors and is protected by UAE intellectual property laws and international treaties.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

• Use our trademarks in any metadata (e.g., Google Ads keywords) without permission.

• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of our website or systems.

14. Prohibited Conduct

When purchasing from Shower Filters UAE, you agree not to:

Violation may result in:

• Permanent ban from purchasing Shower Filters UAE products.

• Reporting to Dubai Police or DED for commercial fraud.

15. Force Majeure

Shower Filters UAE shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, sandstorms)

• War, terrorism, civil unrest

• Government actions, import/export restrictions

• Pandemics, epidemics (including COVID-19 or future outbreaks)

• Supplier failures, logistics strikes, or carrier delays

In the event of a force majeure, we will:

• Notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

• Suspend performance for the duration of the event.

• Offer a full refund or order cancellation if the delay exceeds 30 days.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

16.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically:

• UAE Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 (Civil Transactions Law)

• UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 (Consumer Protection Law)

• Dubai Law No. 1 of 2020 (Dubai International Financial Centre – for cross-border matters, where applicable)

16.2 Dispute Resolution Process

Small claims: For disputes under 10,000 AED, either party may file directly with the Dubai Courts' Small Claims Tribunal without prior arbitration.

16.3 No Class Actions

All disputes must be resolved on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in any class action, collective action, or representative action against Shower Filters UAE.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any express waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Shower Filters UAE.

These Terms, together with the Return and Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Shower Filters UAE regarding your purchase of shower filters.

Your continued use of our products or services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, your sole remedy is to stop purchasing from Shower Filters UAE.
