1. Introduction

This Shipping Policy ("Policy") governs the delivery of all shower filters and related products ("Products") purchased from Shower Filters UAE ("Shower Filters", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") via any Merchant Center platform or our website.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service and Return and Refund Policy.


2. Shipping Destinations

Shower Filters UAE ships exclusively to addresses within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

We do NOT ship to:

  • P.O. Box addresses (physical address required for delivery)

  • Military installations or restricted security zones

  • International addresses outside the UAE

  • Offshore islands without ferry access (e.g., Sir Bani Yas Island – contact support for exceptions)


3. Shipping Methods and Rates

Free Standard Delivery applies automatically to all orders with a total value of 150 AED or more (after discounts, before VAT).

Example: Order total 149 AED → 15 AED shipping. Order total 150 AED → Free shipping.


4. Order Cutoff Times

Business days: Sunday through Thursday (UAE standard work week).
Non-business days: Friday, Saturday, and UAE public holidays (e.g., Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, National Day, New Year's Day).

Orders placed after the cutoff time will be processed on the next business day.

Example: An Express order placed on Thursday at 1:00 PM (after cutoff) will be shipped on Sunday (first business day) and delivered Monday or Tuesday.


5. Order Processing Time

Regardless of the shipping method selected, all orders go through the following processing stages:

Total processing time: Typically completed within one business day for orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon). Orders placed after noon may process the following business day.

You will receive:

  • Order confirmation email – within 5 minutes of purchase.

  • Shipping confirmation email – when your order leaves our warehouse, containing:

    • Tracking number

    • Carrier name (Aramex or Fetchr)

    • Estimated delivery date


6. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you can track it using any of the following methods:

Tracking delays: It may take up to 24 hours after shipping confirmation for the carrier's system to show movement.


7. Delivery Attempts and Failed Deliveries

7.1 Standard Delivery Process

  • The carrier will make two delivery attempts on two separate business days.

  • Attempts are typically made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM UAE time.

  • No delivery is made on Fridays (except Saturday Delivery service).

7.2 Failed Delivery – First Attempt

If no one is available to receive the package:

  • The carrier leaves a missed delivery notification (physical card at your door or SMS).

  • You have 24 hours to reschedule via the carrier's link or by calling Shower Filters UAE support at +971 4 587 1234.

7.3 Failed Delivery – Second Attempt

If the second attempt also fails:

  • The package is returned to our Al Quoz warehouse.

  • You will receive a notification to contact Shower Filters UAE support.

7.4 Fees for Failed Delivery

7.5 Reshipment After Failed Delivery

To reship a returned package:

  • Contact support at shipping@showerfiltersuae.ae or WhatsApp +971 50 123 4567.

  • Pay the reshipment fee (same as original shipping cost: 15 AED or 30 AED for Express).

  • Order will be reshipped within 2 business days.

Note: These are estimates. Delivery during peak seasons (November–January, Ramadan, Black Friday) may add 1–3 business days.


9. Public Holidays and Peak Season Delays

Shower Filters UAE observes the following UAE public holidays (no processing or shipping occurs on these dates):

  • Black Friday / White Friday sales (November)

  • Ramadan (reduced working hours for carriers)

During these periods, we will display a banner on all Merchant Center storefronts: *"Shipping may take 2-3 days longer than usual. Thank you for your patience."*


10. Shipping Confirmation and Proof of Delivery

10.1 Digital Proof of Delivery (POD)

All shipments require a signature or digital PIN upon delivery.

10.2 Requesting Proof of Delivery

If you claim non-delivery, we will request the carrier's POD. To obtain a copy, email shipping@showerfiltersuae.ae with your order number. We will respond within 3 business days.

10.3 Package Marked "Delivered" but Not Received

If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received the package:

  • Check with neighbors, building security, or your lobby.

  • Wait 2 hours (carriers sometimes mark delivered before actual drop).

  • Contact Shower Filters UAE support at +971 4 587 1234 within 48 hours of the "Delivered" status.

Note: Claims made after 48 hours may be denied as we cannot verify carrier errors after that window.


11. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged in Transit

To report damage: Within 48 hours of delivery, email shipping@showerfiltersuae.ae with:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the damaged product

  • Photos of the packaging (all sides)


12. Shipping Errors by Shower Filters UAE

If we ship you the wrong product (e.g., wrong filter model) or ship to the wrong address due to our error:

13. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Cash on Delivery is available for all UAE addresses with the following conditions:

Maximum order value 500 AED (for COD only; higher orders must prepay by card)

COD is not available for:

  • Orders with a total value under 50 AED

  • P.O. Box addresses

  • Saturday Delivery service (Express prepaid only)


14. International Shipping

Shower Filters UAE currently does NOT ship internationally. We serve customers exclusively within the United Arab Emirates.

If you are located outside the UAE and attempt to place an order:

  • Your payment will be declined at checkout.

  • If our system mistakenly accepts an international order, we will cancel it within 24 hours and issue a full refund.

Future expansion: International shipping (GCC countries: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) may be added in Q1 2027. This policy will be updated accordingly.


15. Change of Shipping Address After Order

15.1 Before Shipment (Processing Stage)

If your order is still in processing (not yet handed to carrier):

  • Contact support immediately at +971 4 587 1234 or WhatsApp +971 50 123 4567.

  • Provide your order number and the corrected address.

  • Address change is free if requested before shipment.

15.2 After Shipment (With Carrier)

If the order has already been handed to the carrier:

  • Address change is not guaranteed.

  • We will attempt a redirect (additional fee 25 AED, charged to customer).

  • If redirect is impossible, the package will be delivered to the original address or returned to sender (customer pays return shipping + reshipment).

15.3 False Address Provided

If you knowingly provide an incorrect or incomplete address (e.g., missing apartment number, wrong emirate):

  • You assume all risk of non-delivery.

  • No refund will be issued for lost packages due to customer address error.


16. Multiple Shipments (Split Orders)

If you order multiple products and one is out of stock or delayed:

  • We do not split shipments unless absolutely necessary.

  • If a split is required (e.g., filter housing in stock, cartridges backordered), we will:

    • Notify you by email.

    • Ship the available items first.

    • Ship the backordered items separately at no additional shipping cost.

  • You will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment.


17. Shipping Insurance

All shipments from Shower Filters UAE are automatically insured at no additional cost to you.

Insurance does NOT cover:

  • Stolen packages after "Delivered" status with valid POD.

  • Damage caused by customer after delivery.

To file an insurance claim, email claims@showerfiltersuae.ae with your order number and evidence.


18. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure smooth delivery, you agree to:

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delayed delivery, failed delivery fees, or order cancellation without refund.

  • Updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document

The version of this Policy in effect at the time of your order governs your shipment.


21. Acknowledgment

BY PLACING AN ORDER WITH SHOWER FILTERS UAE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to this Shipping Policy.

  • You understand that delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • You accept that failed deliveries due to your unavailability may incur fees.

  • You have provided accurate shipping information and will update us promptly if it changes.
